Dr. Kirsten was born in Enterprise, Alabama. She met her husband, Hunter, on a blind date and has been happily married since July of 2011. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in Montgomery in 2013. In 2014 she and her husband moved to Marietta, Georgia for her to attend Life University and receive her doctorate in Chiropractic. She and her husband Hunter had their first son, Hudson, during her time in Chiropractic college. The birth of Hudson led her to become passionate about prenatal and pediatric Chiropractic care. It also ignited a fire in her for childbirth education. After graduating Chiropractic school she and her family moved to Loogootee, Indiana where she practiced Chiropractic for almost 3 years. In 2020 she was able to experience a VBAC surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home with their second son, Shepherd! Their family’s journey ultimately led them “back home” to Alabama in the summer of 2021. Dr. Kirsten has completed 200 hours of post graduate education and working towards a distinct certification in pediatric and prenatal care with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She also trained as a labor doula and childbirth educator. Some of Dr. Kirsten’s favorite things are Jesus, worship music, all things childbirth, iced lattes, and spending time outdoors and with her family!
